Oasis of Light

Sometimes the old roads lead you through an Oasis of Light.

The clearing here is an interesting little spot. There is a creek near by that a weasel hunts. Deer often drift and meander through. The skies above have vultures soaring over head. The odd Osprey can also be found drifting on the wind headed to the lake.

As I walk these roads I usually have Bertha on the camera, and my grandfathers old Helios 44M in my pocket. I love that old Helios lens. The Helios 44M is an F2 lens that is tiny, and built pretty tough. It is a great normal lens for landscapes and general use.
