I have wanted to see and explore the badlands since I was a kid. When I was a young child, I was really interested in Dinosaurs. I scoured every bit of literature related to them I could get my hands on. This really sparked my interest in the badlands. The hoodoos were a symbol of the Canadian badlands in Alberta, were the dinosaurs lurked just under the surface. Now as I am older, one of the things I really enjoy about this area is the texture, colour and line of the rolling hills and these giant mushroom like sculptures. It is a beautiful land that everyone should go see and enjoy.

Probably one of the most famous views of Banf. Out on the board walk, by the grand old hotel up at Lake Louise over looking the glacial lake.
